The user interface for the ISYSconnect has been designed for ease of use, with an intuitive software based interface and all controls on screen

The system is controlled through three main controls for basic operation:

Output power set – increments and decrements in 5W steps.

Reflection power trip set – if a process requires the microwave power to be disabled when a certain reflected power level is detected, this function will allow that trip value to be set. This function increments and decrements in 1W steps.

Timer set – the system has the option of being used in continuous or [timer] mode. When the microwave power is enabled, the timer function will decrement in 1 second steps and disable the microwave power when the timer reaches zero.

The ISYSconnect software can control various modes of operation:

[START/STOP] – enables and disables microwave power.

[SWEPT] – when used in standalone mode, this mode allows an improved accuracy measurement of real-time reflected power to be made and displayed.

[TIMER] – when the user requires to have power automatically disabled after a predetermined test duration.

[EXTERNAL SOURCE] – for use with users own signal generator via SMA female connector on the rear panel.

[USB] – When USB communication is achieved, this button will automatically illuminate.

[RESET] – resets the system back to the power-on values.

[DATA CAPTURE] – If data is required for analysis, this feature allows all the system parameters including settings, status and measurement to be easily captured.

With [START/STOP] enabled, the system displays the real-time measurement of the output and reflected power as well as the amplifier temperature.
