Emblation will be exhibiting at this year’s FootHealth exhibition, being held on the 29th and 30th of May at Kettering Conference Centre in Northamptonshire. Foot Health is established as the largest independent conference for podiatrists in the UK, and Emblation will be giving delegates an opportunity to find out about our latest microwave therapy product for skin – Swift.
During the conference Emblation CEO Gary Beale will be speaking in the “Innovations in Podiatry” section about Swift and the next generation of treatment options available to Podiatrists and Dermatologists.
Emblation has filed a new US patent related to the treatment of soft tissue coagulation using microwaves. The patent covers methods and apparatus for the treatment of dermatological conditions, including, for example, viral infections, microbial infections, cancers, dermatological conditions and particularly infections of the skin caused by human papillomavirus (HPV).
Emblation has spent over 4 years developing Swift, a treatment system that uses microwaves to coagulate and ablate soft tissue. Working closely with leading dermatologists and podiatrists, Swift has been driven by private investment and developed by the team at Emblation for a 2012 launch in the UK & Europe.
